Safety Is Our Top Priority
Safety is our top priority. All of our Adult Volunteers go through a rigorous intake process, including a background check and 1:1 interviews with multiple professional references, before they ever interact with our youth. Every activity, training, and event is supervised by more than one adult at all times.

Twice a year, all members of the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps attend safety and wellness briefings as part of our youth program's continuing educational curriculum for adults. Your teen's safety and well-being are always at the forefront of everything we do.

Everyone Is Welcome Here
We believe that with hard work and determination, anyone can be successful, no matter where they come from. No matter your race, ethnicity, background, lifestyle, physical ability, or religious beliefs, there is a place for you in the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps. Here, everyone is welcome, and everyone has a place to belong.

We have zero tolerance for hazing, bullying, and discrimination.

Affordable and Accessible for All
We work hard to keep enrollment costs as low as possible so that our youth program is accessible to everyone. Cost should never be a barrier to joining us. We offer payment plans to help manage costs, which are available upon request.

The U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps is a federally chartered, non-profit 501(c)(3) youth program. Each year, we receive $1.7 million from the Commander, Naval Recruiting Command and $4.3 million from Congressional funding. These funds help keep our enrollment costs and training fees much lower than any other youth program out there today.

Embark on a voyage of adventure and leadership to unlock your potential as part of the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps!
