Everyone Learns Leadership
From the newest Recruit to the most senior Cadet, everyone learns leadership, not just a select few. Everyone works hard to build their self-confidence and teamwork skills. "Fail safely, then succeed." Our youth program offers a supportive space where young Americans can learn valuable skills such as managing stress, recognizing their own limits, gracefully bouncing back from setbacks, and striving for continuous improvement. These things teach kids the importance of resilience and growth, showing them that overcoming obstacles is a vital step towards achieving their goals. |
"Anyone can play a sport or join a club. Not everyone has what it takes to be in our youth program."
This famous phrase we use focuses on how our standards and requirements set us apart from other activities available to youth today. Youth elect to stay with us for multiple years, choose us over any sport, club, video games, even their normal friend groups, because they prefer what we offer youth instead. As one of our Falcon Division Cadets says, "I love doing something with my life that actually matters." |
A Training Standard
There are over 350+ trainings to attend annually, including medical, aviation, police/fire, special forces, cyber security, culinary, construction/engineering, and more! Our trainings consist of multiple hours per day of: team-building physical training activities, close-order military drill, and practical hands-on instruction. There is no limit to how many trainings Cadets can attend!

A Fitness Standard
Based on the Presidential Physical Fitness Test in a typical gym class, our fitness standard consists of push-ups, the plank, and a 1-mile run. Applicants must show they have the potential to pass our PRT. While this is not required to enroll, they must show that they are willing to pass our PRT within 3 months of enrollment and at least once every 6 months. We are very proud of our focus to the "whole person" approach of instilling the importance of a sound mind, body, and spirit. An Appearance Standard
We wear the uniform of the U.S. Navy, and therefore have to follow their appearance standards. Males must be clean-shaven and their hair cannot be longer than 2 inches long. Females must wear buns or have hair that does not touch the collar. Hair coloring be a natural color. |
An Academic Standard
Our academic standard is to ensure that all youth are in good standing at school. We pride ourselves for having a 100% graduation rate from high school. New Cadets must be passing, with no grade below a C-, in ALL their classes. Those who score a B (83) or higher earn recognition for their efforts. We are NOT a youth program for troubled youth. We are a youth program for those seeking more out of life than the same, mundane, day-to-day activities. While we can provide a positive and structured environment, we are not intended as a rehabilitation or intervention program for youth facing significant behavioral or emotional challenges. |
